From the “About Us” page of the website:
In January of 2018, fourteen undergraduate students enrolled in Kelsey McDonald and Ashley Nepp’s Advanced Geospatial Analysis class and set out to build a model of dengue fever risk on the island of Hawai’i. Over the next four months, the students studied earlier models of dengue risk, researched previous cases of dengue on the island, and investigated the environmental and human factors that enable and support the spread of the disease. This StoryMap represents the culmination of their work within the class, and they are very excited to share it with you!
