Description

This depicts a woman seated in a green wooden chair, with a child in her lap. The woman is wearing a floor length dress that is white and yellow, with a patterned lace skirt. There is a sunflower placed over her left breast. The sleeves of the dress are yellow and split up to the inner elbow, and drape down. The woman is holding a hand mirror in her right hand, and the child's face can be seen in it. Her left hand is on the child's shoulder. The child appears to be female, is naked, and has a large belly. She is grasping the mirror handle with both hands and looking up into it. In the top left, there is a mirror on the wall, in which the woman and child's reflection can be seen.
