Urban Food & Nutrition Initiatives Project

Project Website

From the website: “This website assists policymakers and policy experts interested in assessing previous and ongoing municipal nutrition initiatives. These cataloged initiatives include city ordinances, public-private collaborations, programs, and public campaigns. We compare these initiatives, cull data about their impacts, and share lessons they learned.  Our project begins with nine major U.S. cities, as designated in this map, lifting up the research already done.  Our hope is that this website brings that research to light so that others will build upon their work and that we contribute to the diffusion of urban food policy and public health innovations.”
