Imagining Alternative Educational Spaces: Transformation and Aspiration
This forum is attempting to investigate beneficial aspects of education that can be interpreted into conversations and ideas from students to be for students. While existing in our current realities and building a positive pathway for us to envision liberated futures, we will think about both tangible practices to use in the present as well as what we can do to build towards a more just and intellectually diverse educational spaces. We hope to share alternative teaching methods and how the successful aspects of alternative learning spaces can be translated into traditional classrooms in order to uplift students. The opportunity to engage in praxis-theory with others in the forum will help workshop these ideas. This forum is intended for all members of the community from students, parents, teachers, and school administration to collectively participate in the shaping of a better educational world.
