WEAI Meetings – Call for Papers

TPUG has a long history of presentations at the ASSA meetings, and more recently at the WEAI meetings.  At the WEAI meetings, TPUG holds several sessions in transportation economics and in Public Utility economics.

The annual WEAI meetings are typically held at the end of June to the beginning of July and TPUG’s call for papers for the annual meeting opens on November 1. To have your research considered at the annual WEAI meeting in June/July, please find this Google Form (opens 11/1) and enter the relevant information including title, abstract and authors as well as their contact information. The due date for paper submission to the TPUG sessions at the annual WEAI meeting in June/July is February 10.

All program participants for the WEAI meetings must register for the WEAI convention and become TPUG members ($30 TPUG membership fee or a $300 lifetime membership fee). It is noted that TPUG is an affiliated association of WEAI, and as such, TPUG members can register for the conference at the WEAI member rate regardless of their WEAI membership status (you could even make money by joining TPUG).

If you are having trouble accessing the Google Form, please find this TPUG call for papers (MS Word .doc) and enter the title, an abstract, and authors (and contact information for all authors). Please send this form directly to Akshaya Jha akshayaj@andrew.cmu.edu  and Gordon Leslie gordon.leslie@monash.edu.

There is also a listserve which is used to disseminate information directly to members. Please contact the secretary (Misak Avetisyan (Misak.Avetisyan@ttu.edu)) to add your name to the listserve.
