Introduction to Data Storytelling

The Postdoctoral Fellow in the Digital Liberal Arts, Aisling Quigley, created this course for Spring 2020. It was cross-listed between Media and Cultural Studies and Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, and asked students to consider data through a humanist lens. The featured image incorporates all of the personal data postcards students submitted for an assignment. This particular assignment was inspired by Georgia Lupi and Stefanie Posavec’s Dear Data project, and the images are reproduced with permission from the students.
