Despite the chaos going on around us right now, I’m finding the prep for hybrid teaching to be unexpectedly fun/satisfying. In a typical semester, after each class I’m always thinking that I could have explained this or that better. In preparing video lectures, I like that the editing capabilities provide an opportunity to explain things exactly how I intended to! (Or, at least closer…) I’m using VYond and some Explain Everything as the main tools make video lectures, here’s a clip from a lecture on acid/base chemistry for Biochemistry I:
